- Ottavio Rosati realizes the sociodrama of Lady Macbeth for the 2006 edition of «Elogio alla Follia - Shakespeare e le Donne», meetings between theater and psychoanalysis conceived by "Tangram Teatro" with "Sistema Teatrale Torinese". For a strange coincidence the event takes place on the first of April "The Fool Day" in which Jacob Levi Moreno at the beginning of the twentieth century presented the first psychodrama in Vienna. Rosati's direction involves the audience in a series of crime ghosts such as the dagger, the theft of the crown, the launch of a poisoned arrow. He does'not read he images evoked by Shakespeare's tragedy from Freud's point of view but from the systemic model. In this perspective (interpersonal as well as intrapersonal) the assassination of the Old King is not caused just by the oedipal instinct of the son but from the instigation of a woman who, pushing her son-husband to kill his father, destroys them both and realizes her hate for the law and for the male world. Usually the outcome of this situation is not the neurosis of the child but his psychosis or the borderline condition. To distance himself from Macbeth mith, Rosati directs the action by wearing a "casula" the seamless tunic worn by Christ when he was brought to the crucifixion. This garment symbolizes the bond between the Priest, the Mass and the Sacrifice of Jesus. The director of a psychodrama, like the priest, should be considered an alter Christus in the sacrifice of the Mass and the "casula" covers the new man, created according to God in Justice. The empty spaces of Cavallerizza Reale of Turin host only the king's throne and are flooded by the vee-jay of Verdi's opera Macbeth that illuminates the action in place of the spotlights. Rosati dedicates this short to the philosopher and psychoanalyst Umberto Galimberti who suggested to the organizers of the Turin event about Shakespeare to replace his conference on Macbeth with a sociodrama organized by Plays.

- They forbid her love, she gifts them with hate. They take her freedom, she makes them feel prison. They claim her life, she orders their death. A drama from the times when women were still almost lawless property in the hands of their men and when the right to love and freedom sometimes had to be redeemed by murder. The period story about love and killing was loosely based on the story of Nikolaj Leskov and is inspired by a real criminal case. The fine line between criminal and victim is explored in the performance of "Lady Macbeth from Újezd" by the actors of the Svanda Theater in Smíchov on their home stage.
